How do I keep my towels soft?

When your new towels arrive, if possible wash them before use on a 40-degree quick wash. Try not to use too much washing powder or liquid, as towels don't need as much as clothes or sheets do. This is because texture and fluffiness of the cloth makes a lot of lather from the detergent. With too much lather, some residue may be left in the towel. Avoid using fabric conditioner on the first wash. It coats the fibres of the towel to make them feel soft, but at the same time the coating reduces absorbency. There's nothing worse than a towel which just pushes moisture around rather than immediately absorbing it off your skin. We recommend to uses just a little conditioner every second wash. On removing towels from the washing machine, pull any patterned borders back in shape. Ideally, tumble-drying on a low heat will fluff them up perfectly.

How often should I wash my sheets?

To keep bed linens looking their best, they should be laundered every five to six days. Leaving it longer may cause discolouration, especially with white linens. Christy recommends that all bed linen be separated into light or dark colours and washed at 40 degrees. Contrary to popular belief, fine white linens should not be boil-washed, especially since modern detergents now achieve excellent results at low temperatures. For best results, select a non-biological detergent containing no bleaching agents that can cause colours to fade and damage fabrics. When hand-washing, make sure that the detergent is well mixed into the water before immersing the items to be washed.

How long does it take to get my stuff?

We attempt to send your items by the day after receiving your order. You should then receive your order within two or three days in the Czech Republic and five working days to Slovakia and Poland.

Where do you deliver?

Any orders placed on the website can be delivered anywhere in the Czech Republic. We are happy to send orders elsewhere - for orders outside the Czech Republic please email us on prodej@christy.cz

How do I check the status of an order?

Although we endeavour to deliver all orders within three working days, if you haven't received your items within this time please email prodej@christy.cz and we'll be happy to confirm the status of your order.

How do I cancel an order?

You may cancel an order anytime up to dispatch, please email - prodej@christy.cz.

How much do you charge for postage?

Czech Republic:
Postage is free for all orders over 3000 CZK and 80 CZK for orders under 3000 CZK.

Slovakia
Postage to Slovakia is free for all orders above 5000 CZK and 280 CZK for all orders under 5000CZK.

Poland
Postage is free for all orders over 6000 CZK and 300 CZK for orders under 6000 CZK.

Can I get orders delivered to my work address?

Of course! We’ll deliver by "business parcel" post, but if you won’t be at home during the day to receive your order please use your work address for delivery.
